Editorial Policy
ExoRank follows three rules: contestable claims need sources, evidence type must remain visible, and every product must be evaluated against consistent criteria. Missing or conflicting evidence is reported instead of smoothed over.
Evidence hierarchy
Regulator records, official manuals, and exact-model technical documents lead. Current store pages support price and availability. Manufacturer pages support attributed claims. Independent field reviews contribute observed fit, noise, behavior, endurance and ownership experience. Every conclusion is traced back to the strongest available source.
Segment boundaries
Consumer outdoor devices, industrial systems, regulated medical devices, and research prototypes are not interchangeable. We do not rank a recreational hiking product against a clinical rehabilitation device, and we do not recommend consumer products for a condition, disability, recovery, or workplace safety outcome.
Corrections and editorial independence
Material corrections update the page, evidence ledger, and ranking where necessary. Prices, stock, specifications, firmware, and safety records carry review dates. Brands cannot buy placement, a stronger verdict, or the removal of a documented limitation.
