ExoRank

Exoskeleton Database

By · Last reviewed

A normalized evidence map of 15 exact models across consumer/outdoor, industrial, and medical/rehabilitation segments. Specifications remain attributed, incompatible weight definitions are preserved, and missing evidence is shown rather than estimated.

Prices and availability are dated snapshots. Consumer products are not medical devices unless the record explicitly says otherwise. Manufacturer specifications are attributed to their source.

Exact-model endurance evidence map

Each row pairs the distance claim with its battery bundle, published peak power and weight basis. When current primary sources conflict, the chart shows the conflict instead of drawing a distance bar.

Hypershell S series

X Pro S17.5 km · 1 battery
800 W published peak2.585 kg wearing weight1 included battery
X Max S30 km · 1 battery
1,000 W published peak2.571 kg wearing weight1 included battery
X Ultra SRange wording unresolved

Hypershell's current storefront says the bundle includes two batteries but uses conflicting 30 km wording. ExoRank does not turn that into a 60 km claim.

Within-family configuration change

Lite and Carbon each list 15 km with one battery. The Carbon specification changes two other fields: published peak power rises from 500 W to 900 W, while mechanical-parts weight falls from 1.8 kg to 1.6 kg. Carbon Pro keeps those Carbon figures, lists titanium among its mechanical-parts materials and pairs two batteries with the 30 km claim.

Manufacturer specifications use different test protocols and weight definitions. DNSYS reports mechanical-parts weight; Hypershell reports wearing weight with a battery. These bars keep the original definitions visible, so they are not a ranking of assistance, endurance or wearability. Use the battery life and range guide to apply the configurations to route planning.

How to read the fields

Status describes the observed commercial path, not product quality. Price is a dated market snapshot. Weight retains the manufacturer's measurement basis, so a wearing-weight figure is not silently compared with bare mechanical parts or a per-leg number.

What evidence confidence means

Confidence reflects coverage and source quality for the recorded fields. It is not a performance score. A model can be commercially important while still having unresolved specifications, access conditions or exact-model documentation.
